大会の感想や香港でのテコンドーの様子、香港の魅力などをお伺いしました。

世界大会について
Master Billy J. I. Chiang8段、インタビューにご協力くださりありがとうございます。
早速ですが、今回の世界選手権全体の感想をお聞かせください。
世界選手権全体は大成功でしたが、ほんの少しだけ、大会の運営面で混乱が生じてしまいました。
続いて、今回の世界大会で最も印象に残っていることをお聞かせください。
この世界大会で最も印象に残っていることは、世界中のテコンドーの兄弟姉妹と再会し、テコンドーを通して平和に共存ができたことです。
競争は二の次であり、友情が第一です。
今大会に参加した日本選手団の印象をお聞かせください。
全体の印象として、日本チームは規律正しく、そして礼儀正しいチームでした。また、技術面ではアジアトップクラスのチームです。
今大会に向けて香港代表選手たちはどのように準備したのですか？
香港選手団は昨年（2022年）の初めからこの世界選手権に向けて練習を続けてきました。

香港でのテコンドーについて
香港ではテコンドーはどれくらい人気がありますか？
ITFとWTは両方とも我が国で最も人気のある武道で、競技人口は2万人を超えます。
香港で最もテコンドーが盛んなのはどの世代ですか？
香港で最もテコンドーを盛んに修練しているのは10代の子供たちです。
香港について
香港の観光名所や食べ物を教えてください。
東洋の真珠と呼ばれる香港は、その夜景が最も鑑賞に値します。
食に関しては、世界中の食文化が集まり、グルメ天国としても知られています！
点心だけでも十分紹介に値する価値があります。
また、点心はそれぞれに特徴があり、ゆっくりと楽しむことができます。

Please tell us about your impressions of the World Championships in general.
The entire World Championships was a huge success, but the conference arrangements were a bit confusing.
Please tell us what left the biggest impression on you at this world tournament.
The most profound impression of this world tournament is that can reunite with Taekwon-Do Brothers and Sisters from all over the world and coexist peacefully. The competition comes second and friendship comes first.
Please tell us your impressions of the Japanese team.
Overall, the Japanese team is a disciplined and polite team. In terms of technology, they are one of the top teams in Asia.
Which generation of people in your country practices taekwondo the most?
Children an teenagers are the most practices Taekwon-Do in our country.
How popular is Taekwondo as a martial art in your country?
ITF ( Taekwon-Do ) and WT ( Taekwondo ) both kinds are the most popular martial art in our country.
It’s over 20,000 practitioners
How long have your country’s representative athletes been practicing for this world championship?
They have been practicing for this world championship from earlier last year(2022).
Please tell us about your country’s tourist attractions and recommended foods.
Hong Kong is known as the Pearl of the Orient, and its night view is the most worth appreciating. As for food, it brings together food cultures from all over the world, so it is known as a gourmet paradise! It is worth introducing even the dim sum. Each type of dim sum has its own characteristics and can be indulged in.
Please give a message to the Japanese national taekwondo team and Japanese taekwondo trainees.
I sincerely hope the Japanese National Taekwon-Do team and trainers will continue to work hard!
